Thread: Anyone out there taking OTC Xenical (Alli) experiencing urinary side

effects or symptoms like vaginitis? I took prescription Xenical successfully for 6 months a few years back but stopped due to high cost. Since taking Alli, which is half strength Xenical OTC, I experience symptoms like a yeast infection and also urinary symptoms like a UTI (urgency, frequency, pain) if I take it several days in a row. Am embarking on a weight loss program and was hoping to Alli but am puzzled by these adverse symptoms. I have never had the bowel symptoms most often associated with Alli use.

I have a horrible UTI and have not had one in years. I just started taking Alli 2 weeks ago.

although it was not when I went to the doc (although bad enough that I WENT to the doc). I just started taking it last week.
