Yeah definitely! And the good thing about it is that the dietitian prescribed it so that means it's safe and healthy at the same time. I'm sure anyone who needs to lose weight would like to have that too. It's better than taking weight loss pills. I'm also curious though, does it have any side effects?

The Mediterranean diet is considered the best diet for a human on the planet and is not a diet, it's the way we evolved to eat over the last 12,500 years. However, since we were around for 2.5 million years before that not eating that diet, it is still only an approximation. The stuff we eat now for the most part has only been around for the last 50 years. We haven't had time to adapt to the changes in our diets from 12,500 years ago properly and now we expect to instantly adapt to stuff that was formulated yesterday. That's why we have problems.

Mostly, the stuff we evolved to eat doesn't exist any more so we've kind of snookered ourselves.

The protein in protein shakes is generally ground up chicken feathers and/or whey depending on the quality. Just because it's medical grade doesn't mean cheap ingredients weren't used.

I think it's a good idea you went to a dietitian. You should also see a nutritionist. All of you should do the same thing. Why are you all here grasping at straws and abusing your bodies? You're merely kidding yourselves and not getting serious. That's why you aren't getting proper results.

You have a good point there gullyfourmyle, thanks for enlightening us! Most of those who go on a diet want to lose weight but are sometimes to lazy to do it. They opt for a shortcut that most of the time doesn't work thus losing money and opportunity to lose healthy weight if they started doing it right to begin with.
