Default What If You Treated Your Body Like A Car?

I'm posting this because it's an interesting way of looking at our bodys.
Our body's function very similar to a motor car and I see so often many many people over complicating their diets thinking they need a supplement for this and a supplement for that not true!

If you drive a car carelessly chances are you will crash it the exact same simple principle applies to our bodys if you put dirty fuel into a car guess what it runs terrible - Again the same common sense observation applies to our most precious asset which we call our bodys (OURSELVES)

Default V8 engine in a human body.

You are absolutely right. Cars, trucks and motorcycles all run on the same fundamentals as a living body. Not just humans; all animate forms of life.

You expect race cars to develop a lot of horsepower. Athletes too right?

This is where that horsepower comes from:

The best fuel. There are different kinds of engines that require different fuel formulations. You match the fuel to the engine. Same with athletes. The top power food is parsley. That and other veggies. Meat rounds out the package.

The carburettor. The engine's mouth - fuel and oxygen enter the engine here and the mixing (digestion process) starts. The bigger the carb, the more gas can be pumped into the engine, thus more power right? Maybe.

The cam shaft - (in humans, the esophagus)This is basically a machined steel bar with lobes that open and close the intake and exhaust valves according to specific times. The wider the lobes open the valves, the more fuel can enter the cylinder below. In a human, the peristaltic action (think of how a worm moves) sends the fuel (food) to the stomach.

Valves - in us more of a flap between the esophagus and the stomach. When a valve opens, it allows food to pass into the stomach or cylinders in a car.

Cylinders in a car equal our stomach. We digest food with body juices. Engines digest food by burning the oxygenated fuel right there in the cylinder. The more gas, the bigger the explosion.

Generally speaking, most people's understanding of how engines animals and humans operate ends right there. Car nuts of course know that you need an exhaust system to route the burned gas out of the engine cylinder as soon as possible. In fact on race cars, they go one better and install a set of equal length headers - tubes that look like metal small intestines (because that is exactly what they are) that are formed to speed the exit of spent gases from the burn site. If there is any delay, the next charge of gas won't burn properly and the engine will "stumble".

In a human or other animal, we have a small intestine. In us, its purpose is exactly the same - to rid the stomach of processed food.

In either system, living or mechanical, if there is any delay removing the processed fuel from the burn site, big trouble is on the way.

So it can be said that power depends absolutely upon fast acting, efficient exhaust systems.

In race cars, tuned, equal length headers are a thing of beauty and highly visible. Often they are chromed and polished like mirrors. They look exciting and tough.

Colons are inside our bodies. They are not chrome and they are not well looked after - especially by car guys who ought to know better. Most car guys are a wreck by middle age because they treat their colons like scrap metal.

Most colons are plugged solid with dead fecal matter that has been in there for years - decades even. This gunk looks like truck tire tread; black and with lots of tread because it was formed against the inside walls of the colon. It smells like death - because that is exactly what it is.

When a properly tuned race car is running, it does not smell offensive. When a badly tuned race car is running, the smell is overpowering.

When a properly tuned human body is running, its exhaust (poop) has almost no odour and does not smell rank. When a bady maintained human body is running it has bad breath, body odour and its poop smells like ten men died. That is because the colon the poop came out of was carrying a load that was putrifying. And it's still got another 10 - 15 pounds more in there that isn't going anywhere.

Unlike a car, humans don't get their power in a cylinder. Digested nutrients have to migrate through the colon walls into the blood stream. How clean do you suppose that fuel could be if it first has to filter through and mix with several pounds of deadly poisons on its way? Keep in mind that some of this sludge ends up in your brain.

When a car's oil gets dirty, we change it right? When our colon backs up, toxins build up in our tissues all over our bodies. We don't have an oil pan to drain. So to get rid of toxins, we fast and let our bodies expell them. If you never change the oil in a car, the oil pan fills with sludge and it eventually seizes solid. If you never fast, eventually the same process overtakes you. We call it by various names but an easy one to remember is cancer.

So the next time you're at an automotive race track, look around at the cool dudes who are the drivers and mechanics who seem to know so much. It won't take you long to understand that as much as they understand about engines, they haven't learned their lessons properly because they only understand half of the story. What is the point in driving and owning a great car and making yourself terminally ill at the same time because you couldn't adapt the lesson about headers to your own body?

But it is possible to change all that. Go to the Isagenix threads and learn the rest of the story.
