    Default Home Remedies for Asthma

Here are some of the simple home remedies for asthma:

Honey - very good remedy for asthma. Mix 1 teaspoon of honey in a glass of water and take it 3x a day

Blend radish, honey and lemon juice together for 20 minutes and cook the mixture in a small pan in low heat. Take 1 teaspoon of this daily.

Fennel - regular chewing of fennel helps expel infected mucous, thus preventing asthma attacks

Turmeric - take turmeric with honey in the morning on an empty stomach to help reduce intensity of asthma attack.

Drink the boiled mixture of 1 teaspoon of pure honey, 1 teaspoon of olive oil, 1/2 cup of milk, some garlic clovers everyday is an effective remedy for asthma.

Ajwain (Caraway seeds) - Inhaling the steam from boiled ajwain is also another simple remedy for asthma.

Cool. It's good that you shared this with us mikaela. Some of the foods listed here are already available in anyone's kitchen which makes it more convenient.

I didn't pay attention to these topics before because I didn't think I'd need it. Maybe I can take some precaution and drink water with honey 3 times a day. I have to take it as a warning and I glad that I read this section. Although I am not sure if I indeed had asthma as I don't remember taking any medication for it when I was younger.

I will definitely try this one. I want to quit using medications for my asthma because I don't want to depend on it. These home remedies are very easy to do. I will try this and see how it goes. Thank you Mikaela for posting this. Do you have asthma too?
