  • Rapid Weight Loss Techniques

Other than physical appearance weight affects a person in many ways. This could be the overall quality of life, self-esteem, depression, health risks, and physical incapabilities. There are a lot of positive changes once a person experience weight loss. It is for this reason why a lot of people are searching for a weight loss technique that will surely trim down those fats and get a super slim head turner body.

The first thing that an over-weight should do is seek a doctor to recommend the best weight loss regimen. This will be done after a full physical examination, which leads to the determination of proper weight loss technique. And to lose weight fast and effectively four aspects of life should be changed: what to eat, how to eat, behavior and activity level.

Here are fast tips that can change an over-weight's life:

First: Fast weight loss composes of a multi-faceted technique that consists mindset, exercise, and in other cases, diet supplements. Begin by learning a diet food plan that can easily be accustomed with. Incorporate an exercise plan that allows even at least fifteen minutes a day like brisk walking, running, swimming, and dancing.

Second: Set realistic approaches. The ability to focus and have proper mindset enables someone on a diet to quickly lose those extra pounds. With discipline and proper mind set, a dieter will never be discouraged and lose focus.

Third: Listen as the body speaks. Each and everyone's body metabolism reacts differently to different fast weight loss programs and plans. Try substituting one program for another to compensate the body's reaction. Exercise program must be suitable to one's body, as others are not able to exercise as rigorously as others can. If walking is all that can be done, then walk for this is proven the best exercise. Muscles burn more calories than fats so it's also best to put on a little muscle and looking good too.

Fourth: Eat more fibers for it makes a person full sooner and stays in the tummy longer, slowing down the rate of digestion. A single serving of whole grain bread moves fat through the digestive system faster. Grains turn into blood sugar that spikes the body's insulin level. Thus, making the body more energized and ready to tell the body when it should stop burning fats or start storing.

Fifth: Keep away from fried foods especially deep-fried as this contains a great amount of fat. Although fish and chicken appear leaner than beef, this white meat can contain more fat than when a beef is fried. It is recommended for those on strict diet to opt for grilled food as this does not have or contain less amount of fat after the food is cooked.

Sixth: Takes lots of fluid. Drinking at least six to eight glasses of water a day keeps the body refreshed. Since weight loss depends on how the body eliminates body wastes, the body must stay hydrated.

All in all, discipline and consistency is still the best practice and the key to a rapid weight loss success. Light dieting, workout, and right amount of supplementation applied in a regular way everyday will result in faster weight loss than having a massive action only to be followed a return to old habits as this would only lead to gaining more weight than when the weight loss plan has started.

I agree with listening to your body, setting a realistic approaches, and eating more fiber rich foods. Some people push their body to the limit of their exercise routine and diet. They do not consider the possibility of their hurting their body.

This is a really useful post, thank you. I also find vegetables are a really good way of 'filling up' in a healthy, low fat way if you are dieting. It's great to come to a community of like-minded thinkers, both supportive and informative. I blog about the trials and tribulations of trying to lose weight There are many highs and lows along the way!

I don't think rapid weight loss is the way to do it if you want to keep the weight off. Rapid weight loss can cause you health issues. Not only that, too much weight loss can cause loss of muscle mass, which also means that it could affect the heart.

I have tried rapid weight loss and I have gained all the weight I lost back. It's disappointing, frustrating, and I have lost the motivation to lose weight when it happened. So now what I am doing is I slowly incorporate healthy foods. I have lessen my sweets and junk foods which was the reason I gained a lot of weight. For me losing it slowly is better because you give your body enough time to adjust to your new eating lifestyle and I think the chances of keeping the weight loss is bigger.

Many of us have been through that same problem dazzler. I do agree that the body needs to adjust to the new lifestyle and rapid weight loss may not be a good way to do it. It's also not advisable since you should only lose 2lbs a week otherwise you'll lose muscle and bone mass too

Thanks for the extra information mikaela. Yeah it isn't really good because when I lost a lot of weight in a short period of time, I also became sickly. The weight loss is not worth it if you're compromising your health. I learned my lesson well and now I am setting realistic goals and taking it easy.

I agree on the points what to eat, how to it, and when to eat. But weight loss is not only depends on food, it also depends on the activity of body, if you eat healthy and physical active then you can say i am doing good.

Eating healthy can make us healthy and lose weight but the exercise is what keeps us fit and toned. Exercise also helps flush out the toxins when we sweat and keeps the muscle flexible so we need exercise as much as we need to eat right to stay healthy.

Yes it is. Unfortunately it seems "diets" have acquired a bad reputation. A human diet is not a food plan simply to lose weight it is what you eat over your life time. By taking small steps and slowly incorporating healthier foods into your daily diet you will lose weight (you should really be aiming for about losing 1kg maximum per week) and will stand a better chance of keeping it off

I agree and losing 1kg per week is a lot if you can keep it. That's 4kgs a month and 8kgs in 2 months. You'll be healthier and the skin will be toned more unlike if you attempt to drop it all at once. Depression and stress are your enemies and if you are not careful you can be sucked into the emotion and give in to unhealthy eating reaching for comfort foods most of the time.

I tell you these days there are lots of buzz about weight loss but as per my opinion one should first try out exercises and other dietary methods. If all these gets exhausted then you should go for surgical processes. For weight loss there are different kind of surgeries and all that depends upon the areas of the body parts from where you want to loose. Some of the weight loss surgeries are tummy tuck, liposuction, lapband surgery, etc. For

I started on Isagenix just over two weeks ago. I have lost 5 pounds and feel better already. I do sleep better and have more energy and confidence in myself. I had done another diet and did lose a lot of weight but put some back on cause I started eating bad foods again. So I decided, why not get into a weight loss program that I could benefit from financially. I have talked to a few people and every time I do, I always hear good reviews. Not one person yet has said anything bad and if I do run across someone it will be because they have a chip on their shoulder. I was at an orientation meeting for work and one girl said, hey another Isagenix person...lol. She also had great comments about it. Well that's all I have to say for now. Good luck and great health to everyone!

Absolutely full of information. I've learned a lot about weight loss. No one who's on diet wants to undergo liposuction surgery. But it always depends on the situation.

I wouldn't opt for surgery to lose weight not only because it's expensive but I know I will be more proud if I lost weight due to my efforts. Unless I have a medical condition and liposuction is the last option for me to lose all the weight and get well. In my opinion, rapid weight loss is not good for the body and eventually you will gain all the weight you lost if you are not careful and if you are not well motivated to keep it off.

I have nothing against rapid weight loss but it's just not good for the health. There are risks that dieters should be aware of. I would consult my doctor before going through it to be sure that it won't be any risk to my health, in my opinion.

The sizes of food portions have increased as the year’s pass, especially when it comes to ready meals and snacks. This means that we consume more calories, and adapt quickly to eating bigger portions and do not feel congested. Restrict potatoes, pasta, rice, fatty foods and sweets and select fruits and vegetables.
