Default today i quit smoking weed?

I could probably be the last person to tell you how to stop smoking urges, since I have never even tried smoking cigarettes or weed before. But you have to train your head and understand why smoking it is so bad. Make a hobby take your mind off of it, work out, go out, go play games, do graffiti, sex. Just don't waste your time, and think of the after feeling of guilt and anger that your back into it.I hope I helped, but seriously, you helped yourself out of it, and stay out of it. Best of Luck!

You said you found God now believe in the power of prayer. God can help you overcome your addictions.

I'm in a similar situation and I'm bipolar, but I've been clean for a while now. You said you were bipolar and bipolar and weed just don't mix. Don't blame the weed, but the weed will make things worse. Concentrate on the positive things about life, how it feels good to be clean and healthy, and how your life will move forwards. Develop some healthy hobbies, and concentrate on study and work, and be drawn to healthy happy people instead of dopers. My greatest challenge is staying away from other people who smoke. They manipulate me and pressure me. Find new friends. It wont change overnight and will take time to rebuilt your life. Get help from councillors, psychiatrists, psychologists, or where ever you can.

The feeling will be with us for long, but be patient. Also, try not to develop another addiction to cope, like tobacco. It defeats the point of quitting. Instead, take walks or exercise when you're thinking about getting some pot. Talk to someone on the phone or visit someone, don't be alone thinking about it. Being outdoors has been very helpful for me, I'm more social and healthier now just by jogging in a local park instead of getting wasted.
I am in total agreement...You have to have a mature attitude in these situation and totally realistic. If you remain in close contact with people who are always high you'll fall into the same trap.

There are far worse addictions out there, but its support not dismissal that is required here. The forums arent about telling people to participate in other illegal activities, or dismiss them for trying to achieve goals.

Drugs are not the answer to anything! They stop you from being yourself. They cloud your judgement and your sense of reason. The cravings are false sense of need. They lead you to commit crimes and acts that you would hate yourself for all in the name of that false need!!!

I used to own a bar and I detest, absolutly detest the drug and alcohol mentality. To be true to ourselves and our true nature, we need to be healthy in mind and body. Drugs inhibit that awearness!!

I haven't tried smoking cigarette or weed but I know that this is not going to do you any good if not sooner, then later. There are other things that you can do to stop smoking pot. You can first identify your triggers and why you started it in the first place. Some people smoke them because of depression and some because of peer pressure. Whatever your reason is, look for better alternative. Relax, meditate, exercise, and look for other activities. You have to stop it now before you get so addicted and not stop at all.
