    One of my current favorites is "Why We Get Fat" by Gary Taubes. For decades, the medical/diet industry told us that we were getting fat because we were eating fat. Now they're beginning to realize that it's the sugar and refined foods that are making people fat.

    It's a good read and maybe an eye opener for people who've struggled to lose weight on a low calorie, low fat diet.

    That should be a good read indeed. Anyone knows if there's an ebook of "Why We Get Fat" available? I agree that sugar is the enemy and we should cut it because I think we can live with less of it. I don't really use refined sugars. I don't think I can remember when was the last time I used sugar on my food or drinks. Maybe the ones I had was from the foods that I eat like the granola bars, cake, chocolates, etc which doesn't happen too often really.
