Default Can you recommend a good diet book to help with a healthy life?

emphasis rather than losing weight emphasis? I'm trying to find one that is positive and doesn't contain pages and pages of diet plans or exercise plans, but one that is more about becoming healthy by changing the way you eat and move and is encouraging rather than gung-ho. One with a good sense of humour would be good too! Any recommendations?

I like Tosca Reno: The Eat Clean Diet. She has a website, a cookbook and a workout plan that are seperate if your interested. She is funny, honest, motivating and realistic. However, she does stress that you have to make a commitment to PLANNING ahead to eat right and she's right. The only time I "faiL" at this diet is when I don't plan ahead or I get lazy. It works for me and I stay pretty strict on her guidelines. It took about 2 weeks and I started to feel better, my skin cleared up and I have only had 1 cold in over a year when it seemed like I was sick every month or two. I am now in the process of moving to an organic diet with very limited processed foods so I can see where that takes me.
