Default How to easily lose up to 18 pounds in 12 months

I read this from Yahoo Health and the article showed some interesting tips on how you can lose weight of up to 18 pounds in 12 months, effortlessly.. How? Here's 5 of them:

    1. Soda and Iced Tea

Research made by the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey showed that 7.1% of America’s calorie intake comes from sodas and iced teas. If you stop drinking these, you cut 7% of your calories and you could lose 9 pounds in 6 months..18 pounds in 12 months.

    2. Drink 8 Cups of Water Every Day

In one study, 173 overweight women was put into diet and nutrition training. 12 months later, all women lost weight but those who drank more water, lost more weight than the others. By drinking more than 1 liter of water per day, you could lose an extra 5.07 pounds in 12 months.

    3. Drink Yogurt-Based Smoothies a day

Research showed that people stayed fuller longer when they drank thick drinks than those who drank thin ones. Another study showed that people who drank yogurt shakes, blended until they doubled in volume, ate 96 fewer calories a day than those who drank thinner drinks.

    4. Avoid Juice Drinks

Juice drinks have at least 180 calories and 40 grams of sugar. If you drink one a day, you could gain around 1.5 pounds in a month. If you cut it out, you could lose up to 18 pounds in 12 months.

    5. Avoid Coffee Drinks

A blended coffee is around 239 calories but a regular coffee is only 63 calories. If you are a regular coffee drinker, you could save 176 calories every day by simply making this swap.

176 a day is equals to 5280 calories in a month.. In a year, you could lose up to 18 pounds.

**FYI, one pounds is equals to 3,500 calories..

I also heard that if you drink regular soda everyday for a year, you will gain at least 15 pounds. I guess this proves that it is true.

Saving a few calories a day might not much but it goes a long way. Example, for coffee, by simply choosing to drink regular coffee over blended ones (or other varieties) you could lose a lot in a year.. Even if it's 50 calories a day, that could sum up to 18,000 calories saved in a year. That is equal to 5 pounds..

I didn't know that either.. Maybe it's not the yogurt drink itself.. As long as you drink any thick dinks, I guess it would create the same effect.

This is some excellent information. I myself have struggled on and off with crash diets and fad diets and they have never worked for me. Initially it seems like you are losing weight but it all comes right back.

Set yourself up with a well planned low calorie/low fat nutrition plan. Get an exciting routine and work off the fat the proven way.
