L. Ron Hubbard would support this idea.
Religion exists to make money off people.
And you probably never knew it but Jesus weighed 480 lbs before he slimmed down.
Religion has been used to make money out of all sorts of people for centuries - why should us fatties be any different???
I've looked into this. It really isn't new it has just gotten some fresh press lately. It is the product of Gwen Shamblin. It does not so much talk about biblical foods as it does biblical ideas. Shamblin has profited a great deal from this program. At one time it was common for groups within a church to follow it. In the last couple of years though Shamblin has radically changed her theology and insists that one can only be saved by following her teachings. Her organisation is now considered a cult by Christian leaders. As for the diet there is nothing revolutionary in it and I disagree with much of what she says, especially in her dismissal of the value of exercise. Recently some people who follow her teachings have lost a lot of weight. Anyone will lose weight if they are motivated to watch their intake of calories. As the disclaimers say, "Results not typical, your weight loss may vary."
I know! It looked expensive...that isn't right to charge that much money for it! Not very loving if you ask me!
I think you look angry.
There is sure a never ending supply of fat and obese nasties that go to church's eh? Thats good, fleece those rejects out of more money so they can afford less food.
I think a faith-based diet plan is a violation of the commandment regarding the use of God's name for vain purposes.
