Well, as of yesterday a.m., I have lost again to total 15.2 pounds so far in three weeks. I weighed in on my own scale this morning and have lost another half pound. Whoohoo! It is definately hard work, but I know that once I get below the 200 mark it and continue on to 115, it will all have been worth it. And just imagine how shopping for clothes will feel. I can't wait!

Cheryllee, I know I had to pay up front for a consultation, I don't remember what the fee but it should be tax deductible with the proper receipts.

Hey you guys are doing terrific on the Dr. B. Diet. Good for you!! I fell off that wagaon after about 6 weeks. Everytime i cheated it was costing me about 50 bucks for a bag of chips. A bottle of wine was a 100.00. I lost 10 pounds but defiantly will have to get back at it in the spring when my winter vacations end. Keep it up you all

You just eat regular food but pretty much all natural, no processed food at all. I's really just getting back to the basics. They will give you a list (big) of exactly what to buy. It indicates exactly what to buy by brand. They even have pictures, like a box of specific crackers and so on. It is abit time consuming to shop at first but once you get to know which products you can buy and like then it gets easier. If it's not on the list don't eat it.

I would like to hear more information, too. Because before paying for it just want to be sure that it will work.
As I see different people have different results with his system.
So it's 360$ for just a list of food?

According to my understand $315 or$360 is just initial consultant fee and $165 per week after that with 2-3 clinic visits per week and I don't think that there are any food involved (but I am not sure). I tried couple lost weight program like Diet tea and Isagenix but I failed. I am desperate to lose at least 30 lbs. I used to do really well on Atkin diet six years and keep it down for couple year but gain all back

    Default Atkins

So I guess he's just a next money maker who takes money from superstitious woman. I don't like it.

I see that you were successful with Atkins.

Atkins diet is one of the low carb diet types and it can be used differently.
But the most common thing of low carbs is replacing carbohydrates (bread, pasta, alcohol) with fats and proteins.
It will work when it's the part of your weight loss program but not the main one.

You need to start step-by-step and end in this way, too. Also you must do exercises like gym, swimming and such to keep a balance and not only be addictive from this diet.

That's why a lot of people fail with Atkins or another low carb diets - they just think that they will drop down some lbs and continue to live a 'normal' life. The dieting is not about that. It's a way of life.

I'm thinking of writing a little free e-book where I will explain more stuff about low carbs. I hope I'll have time

Wink Dr B's - Diet Update

Well all, it has now been almost 10 weeks on the Dr Bernstein diet and as of today I am 30 pounds lighter, whooohooo! and I feel great! The doctor's took me off of my blood pressure medication because I have stabilized my levels. My endocrinologist said that at the rate I am losing weight I should also be able to stop my Type 2 diabetes medication by June/July. I am so excited and happy with myself. The pounds are just shedding off and my health drastically improving. Dr. Bernstein is the best thing I have ever done! I know it is expensive, but since I started this diet our food costs have been cut in half and we don't eat out anymore. We are actually saving money because I don't eat half as much and my husband is watching what he eats too. It isn't for everyone, but it is definitely for me. Well, I wish you all the best in whatever you choose to do and the best success with it too. I will update you all again in a little bit.
