I don't think they have a money back guarantee.

I joined Dr. Bernstein last Tuesday and received a single B6/B12 injection. Within 3 hours, I was very itchy. Within 5 hours, I had a full blow case of hives from my scalp to my knees. I went the following day and the staff (at First Canadian Place) were baffled by my reaction and claimed to have never seen this before. They called the doctor and he said to give me a double injection of just B6. Within an hour of that shot, I had even more hives and I had already taken my daily dosage of antihistamine. I am allergic to Thimerosal, which is a preservative used in many vaccines (including flu vaccines). If I had known that Thimerosal were present, I would not have joined and I am unable to take the flu shot. Obviously, for medical reasons, I can't continue and I'm still covered in hives and rash. They don't want to refund my $315 consultation fee; they said I'm quitting on "my own choice". Be very careful ... they do not readily disclose what preservatives are in the shot.

hi patti, sorry to hear that news. it really bites u cant get your money back after having a reaction to the injection, just goes to show ya that its all about the money. i take it this is in canada, cos im sure if it was in usa a good lawyer would get ya money back plus some.
hopefully the reaction subsides. and get back to normal.
best diet i have found is one that u have a small breakfast, a little walk, low carb lunch, med carb supper, and drink water with your meals, instead of having potatoes, have califlower instead, boil/steam just like potatoes, mash and use a low sodium salt or salt subsitute along with a almost like butter instead of real butter.

That is totally not fair. You couldn't continue with the shots anymore because you reacted to the medication. They should refund your money or even just half of it. Did you try to talk to the manager? I don't think that is right and I believe that they can give your money back if you really insist.

scary to say the least. everyone should always check on refund policy , no matter what subject, product you may purchase. and in this case side effects.

I keep cheating and i am only down 8 lbs in total. Apparantly they tell me i should be losing more. 2 more weeks of this and i think i will revert back to weight watchers. It takes longer to lose the weight but at least i can have some pleasurable food and a couple glassess of wine here and there .

I lost 45 pounds on WW about 4 years ago but gained it back, so i know i can do it over a 10 month time frame. The Dr. Bernstein diet is good if you can stick with it and it costs about 175.00 per week but if you stick to the plan you can loss a pound a day and they gaurantee it. You can't fool them either as you have to visit 3 x a week for weight in and injections, also take a urine sample. If you don't have suger in your urine then that means you are eating more than aloud or other foods that are not aloud because if you have suger in your urine then it means you are burning your own fat as you are taking in very little calories and no fat or other suger or sodium so you start to burn the fat you have on your body witch comes out in your urine. If you eat a burger, nachos and eggs then your body utilizes and stores the fat on your body so no suger will be eliminated through your urine. The only way to lose weight is to reduce your intake so that you burn your own fat. The doctor siad that if you were 50 lbs over wiehgt you could live off your own fat for 6 months while taking vitimins and supplements. Yikes !!!
Have you heard of nutritional cleansing, i lost 50 pounds and 12 inches off my waist it took me three months to get all my weight off. Its very easy to do that. i reached my goal i have maintained my weight for two years already its not a diet, its a total nutritional cleanse. You do two shakes a day and you cleanse once a week shakes are meal replacements. you still do have a meal.

    Default Started the Bernstein again

hi all...i went on the Bernstein June 30 and by September 1 i had lost 40 pounds. Thought I could do it on my own...I did start out ok, but then found myself eating foods I shouldn't and having the Smirnoff Ice which i love...On Jan 31, 2011, I went back..and i had gained back 21 pounds from SEptember. I am back on the program and this time will stick to it. I weighed in Jan 31 at 191 and today, Feb 8 184. It is expensive but totally worth it. good luck to everyone!
