    Default Master Cleanse

Has anyone tried the Master Cleanse? I have been reading about it. There are a few good sites with directions on how to do the master cleanse.

I am just wondering if these directions are correct. Looks simple enough

    Cheers.

Default I am doing it right now !

I am at 6:30 pm of my first day of the Master Cleanse. My goal is 10 days. It has been good so far today but I must say I am missing chewing but am not hungry.

I have done quite a bit of reading on it and it makes sense to cleanse the body. I understand that some of the weight lost will come back when you eat again. My goal is to feel better so I can keep losing weight.

My plan after the cleanse is to use the Gabriel Method which I am reading right now.

    Default I tried it

I tried it last year and lasted only 3 days. The lemonade/syrup concoction burned my throat and esophagus, that I couldn't take it anymore. Wasn't a success for me....

I heard about this diet and I don't think it's safe. It's not healthy and I read that users of the diet even experience side effects like, nausea, low blood sugar levels and muscle weakness.

I read about this diet and I agree that it's not healthy since it lacks essential nutrients like protein, iron, zinc and calcium. It does help you lose weight but you might also gain all them back after you go back to your normal diet.

This is what they call The Lemonade Diet right? There are safer ways to detoxify and I wouldn't suggest this to any of my friends.

Wow! This diet is scary. I researched about it and it's one of the list diets you should not try since it's dangerous. It's best to ask your doctor first if you really want to try this.

That's true. Even Beyonce, who used this diet before for one of her movie roles, does not recommend anyone else to try it. I agree with sasa that there other ways to detoxify and for this diet to be listed as one of the diets you shouldn't try, it could mean that a lot of people feel that this diet is not safe to use.
