    Default The Almond Diet

    Hi, i am new here

I lost since September 2008 , about 13 kg, i was 68 kg at the time and now i am 55 kg( for the first time in 17 years I didn't have 55kg! ).

I started relating the sugar with cravings and so i read a book( Sugar Blues) that really open my eyes to sugar . But the point is that i have seen before some videos (in google video) with Dr Russell Blaylock about neurotoxins where i related the cravings people fell when they eat processed foods( that have a lot of neurotoxins like aspartame and glutamate).

So my diet excludes sugary foods ( i only eat complex carbs like whole rice and whole pasta) with low and Medium GI and I don't touch anything that has aspartame and glutamate(MSG).

The good think about this is that your cravings just disappear, the main reason why people can do diet right?

You can visit the almond diet in my blog, i tried to put all the things there but i put a FAQ so you can put some questions :

I read an article about this diet before and it was said that if you add almonds to your diet, it could help you lose more weight than low fat diets.

I heard a lot of good things about this diet. It helps lower blood pressure and reduce risk of heart disease in the long run. Users of this diet lost at least 18 percent of their body weight. This diet is healthy as long as you don't overdo it. Almonds are also high in calories so don't be tempted to finish the whole can, a small handful will do.

So all you need to go is all almonds to your diet? That's it? How often should you eat this and how much per serving?

It says that you could add it in your meal and eat 1.5 ounces or 1/3 of a cup per day. I heard it helps lower blood sugar and insulin levels too so almonds are good for diabetics.
