I read somewhere that there's patches that can help you lose weight. Is that true? What is it called? Is it expensive?

Try this www.applepatchdiet.com/a/ss46010 it really worked for me.
I would try Alli. My mom has been taking it and its good. You take one pill at each meal and it works by not letting your body absorb the fat in the food.
And its FDA approved. It used to be called Zenical in Prescription form but now its over the counter
The only way to lose weight and to keep it off forever is to eat less and exercise more. Anyone who tries to sell you a diet or a pill or an "aid" is more concerned about his wallet than your health.
Save your money. Give up junk food, instead. Spend that money on lean meats, fresh vegetables, and fruits. And get up and move your body at least five days out of every week.
No other method works, over the long run.
Don't do it!!!!!
These types of claims are usually totally worthless, a waste of money, and at worst, damaging. It is possible that there may be a patch that works to control appetite or as a metabolism booster, but these are not lasting solutions. If you want to begin exploring your excess weight, instead ask yourself these questions....
What triggers you to eat when you aren't hungry?
Do you eat for emotional reasons? (sadness, happiness, stress, boredom, etc.)
Do you binge eat?
The best way to solve your weight problems permanently is learn to get in touch with your body's own hunger and fullness cues. I am a personal coach for teens who want to lose weight and help teens figure out what causes them to overeat and how to change these patterns. There is a better way. Please do not waste your precious time and energy on this type of nonsense. If it were that easy we wouldn't be in the middle of the obesity epidemic that we are in.
Good luck to you,
