Default Juicing For Effective Weight Loss

We all know that real weight loss begins and ends with taking in less calories than we burn up. All of the fad diets and fast weight-loss programs that don't address this truth are bound to fail. We need to eat less and burn more calories. However, to protect our health, we need to make sure we are getting the nutrients our body needs to function properly and fight disease. Juice fasting is an excellent way to jump start your weight loss.

Juice fasts help you shed excess weight fast. Some people have seen 30 to 40 pounds disappear during a 30 day juice fast. What makes a juice fast so effective is that not only does it reduce your intake of high-calorie, high-fat foods, it provides you with greater energy and stamina. Exercise during a juice fast actually becomes easier and more effective.

Fresh juice is the best source of vitamins, minerals, and other compounds known as phytochemicals available. Fruits, vegetables, leafy greens, and wheatgrass contain zinc, iron, calcium, magnesium, and all the essential vitamins, antioxidants, and immune-system boosters that your health requires. These health-saving compounds are extracted from vegetables and fruits economically and easily with a high-quality juicer.

Supplied with the nutrition that fresh juice provides, you can get down to the serious business of losing weight. It's no mystery that athletes drink fresh juice every day to give them the energy they need to perform at their best. The disease-fighting properties of juice make sure that you stay illness-free as you lose weight.

But juice fasting doesn't just give you energy and nutrition, it actually speeds up your metabolism for faster weight loss. Fasting with juice cleanses the body. Flavonoids found in green leafy vegetables, citrus fruits, and root foods inactivate damaging free radicals. Also, juice fasting cleanses the colon. Both of these actions make the body more efficient in absorbing and burning calories and in eliminating waste. The result is more efficient weight loss.

There are some who advocate water fasting for weight loss, in which you attempt to cleanse the system by consuming only water. The problem with water fasting is that, without the intake of vitamins and minerals or the calories from simple sugars, it is difficult to maintain these fasts for extended periods. A few weeks of fasting may be required to jump start your weight loss. Drinking fresh juice ensures that you get the energy and nutrition you need to be successful in your fast.

It's not enough, though, to go to your local supermarket and pick up jars of fruit and vegetable juice. These processed juices do not contain the energy-giving and body-cleansing constituents your juice fast will require. Fresh juice, made daily, has many times the nutritional content of juice bought from the supermarket. To make sure you always have a steady supply of fresh juice, the addition of a high-quality juicer to your home will be necessary.

Juice fasting with fresh juice has been shown to be an excellent way to lose excess weight fast. Juice fasters are consistently surprised to find that this method of weight loss is more effective than other diet programs they have tried. When regular exercise is added to the program-exercise that is fueled by drinking juice-weight loss is quick and certain.

    Happy juicing,

    Cheers!

Juice fast is really a good way of shedding down fats, but isn't it hard to maintain that diet for quite a while? What if you have an acid reflux problem? Is it still okay to go on juice diet without sacrificing your health?

Good question mikaela. My sister actually have that and she can only eat a little fruit on her diet. She does count her calories though to ensure that she doesn't go beyond her calorie intake target everyday. It's working great for her but she is having problems with skin dryness. Any advice StayHealthy2009?

You just avoid fruits that are rich in vitamin c to avoid upset stomach or acid reflux. Or you can combine them with vegetables. It'll be more healthy and fiber rich that aids in losing weight. But I think that juice diet is really hard for first time dieter. It's not that easy to change your perception of "eating." I don't think I can ever do it

    Hi Sasa,

I don't agree with you that fruit and vegetables are not healthy because its make our body fat and increase body weight.

I think what sasa said is to avoid fruits that are rich in vitamin c as this can cause acid reflux if eaten too much.

    Hi Viktoria,

Skin dryness is oftern associated with a diet less in fruits and vegetables. If she's got problems with juicing fruits, she should try vegetables instead. One of the benefits of juicing vegetables is clear glowing skin..

I agree with StayHealthy. Does your sister drink enough water? If not, then she needs to drink more in addition to drinking juices.
