I follow my own diet and that is to count my calorie intake all the time. I have to stay with the limit of 1000-1200 calories daily. It really was very difficult and I couldn't follow a weight loss program or plan so I decided to go by my own rules. I waited patiently and I lost 20 pounds. Although I think that I need to make some adjustment and ensure a balanced diet.

@decide000: Thanks for giving us this information. I'm happy for you for losing 26 pounds, I know it's not easy however I am sure it's all worth it

@kathy: Losing 20 pounds is amazing. It must have been a struggle on you too. How many months did it take for you to lose that whole lot of weight?

Yes it was a difficult time for me because I love to it and I had to limit my calorie intake to help myself. I know that if I don't have self discipline to cut down my food intake, I'm going to be sickly, and I don't want that to happen to me. That's when I decided to take care of my health and do something about my weight. However I want to emphasize that I was not fat. I just think that I was overweight. I looked chubby but I was not fat at all lol

So why did you feel like you need to act on losing weight? What made you decide to finally do something about your weight?

After 2 months I lost 20lbs, and I lost another 15lbs after another 2 months. It was a struggle and was very difficult. I weighed 128lbs before (so you see it was not that bad) but I was experiencing shortness of breath and increased heart rate. I don't like that so I decided to lose some weight before I hurt myself more. I was a fan of sweets 5 years ago but I got scared when my grandmother died of diabetes. That was an eye opener for me so to my shock I made a commitment to lose a lot of weight.

Oh really? I'm so sorry to hear about that. It must have been hard for you to let go of that sweets. I am a fan of chocolates but I make sure that I drink plenty of water all the time to flush out all the toxins and minerals off of my body. Dieting is to lose weight is good but you have be careful and make sure that you have a balanced diet. Otherwise you may risk your body for not getting the right nutrition.
