I have not been into dieting but I think if you observe a low carb diet, that will really help you. Carbohydrates turn into fats if not burned so lowering your carb consumption will help you start with your diet. Lowering your fat intake will also help you lose a lot of weight. Of course I always suggest avoiding junk foods and eating more fruits and vegetables. This will help you with gaining weight from overeating. Exercise is very essential in losing weight too so getting yourself your daily dose of exercise to help you burn more fats and give you more boost too

Atkins and South Beach Diet is the most popular. Lighter Life has also made a name because you can lose a lot of weight in a short period of time. However you are not allowed to eat a single thing. Not a piece of fruit, slice of wholemeal toast, pot of fat-free yogurt or plate of vegetables. It maybe hard but if you are committed to lose weight and see the results, then you have a greater chance of losing weight in a short period of time indeed.

All normal food is banned and instead you have four meal replacement shakes, soups, mousses or bars every day, which provide around 500 calories in total and contain the protein, fatty acids, vitamins and minerals needed on a daily basis. It may indeed be hard at first but I'm sure you can do it

All diet programs are difficult and you need dedication and perseverance to finish it to not gain the weight that you have lost. Anyway that will only last for a couple of weeks max. After that you'll be able to eat food again . Good luck Anna James. You can do it!

Yeah I heard that South Beach Diet is difficult to follow but celebrities are into this fad diet because they have lost a lot of weight. If you are willing to sacrifice to lose weight, nothing is too hard. You just need to commit to losing weight no matter what. I'm sure you'll be alright. I heard that Atkins is also a good diet plan, you can check it out too

Creating a balanced diet is the best way. You do not need to starve yourself or suffer when losing weight.

The trick is to not carb deplete too quickly, otherwise you will end up putting the weight you lost back on. The more effective way is to gradually reduce you carb intake weekly based on the amount weight you are losing.

There are alot of things you need to take into account, such as the amount of calories you eat, ratios of protein, carbohydrates and fats in the diet, eating 5-6 smaller meals throughout the day instead of 3 large meals and so on.

That is right. My sister has tried drastically cutting carbo intake and gained all the weight she lost back fast. The key is patience. No one loses weight overnight and if you really want to permanently lose weight, you have to take it slow and not rush too much.
