Oh, I heard about this. This is one of the most popular diets right now. I'm curious though. How much is their daily calorie limit? How much weight can dieters expect in this diet?

Accordng to their website, you could expect to lose 1-2 pounds a week. As for the calorie limit, the consultants will help users determine that and their lowest limit is 1200 calories a day.

1-2 pounds? Not bad. How do they deliver the meal though and how is it ordered? Can they do it online?

Just out of curiosity, Do they have to pay extra for the consultation or coaching support? Or is it part of the program?

Sasa, their 15-minute private consultation support is free.

Viktoria, yes, they could order the meals online. The foods are delivered via fedex in weekly or monthly increments (plus the cost of shipment). That is for the Jenny Craig At Home program though. I guess for those who prefer Jenny Craig In-Centre, they could just buy their food at the location.

Can dieters eat out when they're on this diet? Prepacked meals are provided for them in this diet so what if they decided to eat dinner at a restaurant or cook their own food? Can they do that?

Jenny Craig does offer a manual for eating strategies and they can also call their consultant for assistance. They also have a cookbook if dieters want to cook for themselves or others.

Just like the thread for The NutriSystem, I would also like to share what consumers has to say about this diet (just the negatives):

    1. Pricey
    2. food doesn't taste good
    3. unhelpful counselors/sales people
    4. some consumers did not lose weight or gained their weight back.

thanks kathy.. If you compare The Nutrisystem to this diet, I'd say that The Nutrisystem is better. The first 3 points are the same negatives for The NutriSystem but for #4, I only read 1 out of perhaps 50 consumers mentioned that The NutriSystem did not work for them or they gained weight after a couple on months.
