    Default The Chocolate Milk Diet

The Chocolate Milk Diet is not a diet at all. You will only include chocolate milk along with a healthy diet to help you lose weight. You will consume three 8-ounce serving of chocolate milk: 1 serving after you wake up, 1 serving before workout and 1 serving after workout.

How will it help you lose weight? Here are the reasons:

    1. Calcium - studies have shown that calcium not only helps build strong bones but it also interferes with fat absorption.

    2. Vitamin D - Calcium alone won't work if you don't get vitamin D to go with it. It helps with calcium move from food to your body.

    3. Endurance Boost - studies showed that participants who consumed chocolate milk before riding the stationary bike lasted 49% longer than those who consumed generic carbohydrate-replacement beverage.

    4. Protein-Body-Weight Connection - To burn more calories, you need to build more muscles. Research showed that you need 10-20 grams of protein (half before and half after workout) to build muscles. One serving of chocolate milk has 8 grams of protein which means if you consume one serving before and one serving after workout, you get a total of 16 grams of protein.

I got interested in this diet so I decided to post it for discussion. In my opinion, this diet might work if you're on an intense workout since you need the protein to build muscles. If not, you'll be consuming more protein that you need.

I have lactose intolerance so I don't think it will work for me. It's too bad. I would love to try this diet too.

Too bad indeed. But I'm not totally convinced about this diet yet but it's becoming one of the most talked about diets now. Hopefully, more reviews will come out in the future.

Hmmmm... I will try it anyway. I guess it won't ruin my diet. I just have to make sure that I stay within my calorie range.

I had chocolate milk the other day and I felt guilty drinking it. I didn't actually cheat on my diet but I felt that way afterwards.
