I came across this diet so I decided to share it here.
The Duke Diet is an online weight-loss program designed to improve overall health. It is comprised of 4 components: diet, behavioral strategies, fitness, and medical expertise. This diet has two eating plans: the traditional Duke Diet and a Moderate Carbohydrate Plan, both are low in fat and carbs. There are no off limits in this diet, however, moderation, portion control and lower-calorie versions are employed. Regular exercise is encouraged.
In this diet, you could lose an average of 3 pounds per week. Membership costs is $20/month and there is an additional cost if you require personal coaching.
There is also a Residential Program in North Carolina but the cost is $7,000 (plus accommodations) for a month’s stay.
The residential program is way too expensive so you might as well buy the book and sign up for a membership online.
