    Default Women and Dieting

I read a very interesting article from MedIndia and it says:

"Researchers are reporting that women who go on a diet manage to hold out for 19 days, but lose steam thereafter. They also indicated that women usually went on a diet at least three times a year."

According to the study, the most common food temptations in women are chocolates and crisp wine. But of all the participants, 50% said that chocolate was their main temptation and the danger time was between 3pm and 8pm.

What are your thoughts in this?

This is so true.. During my first try.. I failed miserably but I never gave up. I finally have a diet that works best for me.

I believe this is true too.. My sister, my cousin and my aunt used to diet along with me too.. But they gave up half way.. Now, i'm the only one dieting.. Even my friends can't stay very long to simple diets

Hmmm.. I wonder why that is.. I agree that dieting is really not for everybody but I can't fully understand why others can't stay with it. maybe because they are forcing themselves to go on a diet or they chose a diet that doesn't work well with their lifestyle or taste..

    Hi..!!
I found that losing weight is not that hard as anyone would think. It sure takes commitment and following a simple plan but the key element is persistence.

That's true.. but it's still hard for most people. It may not be about commitment issues but because of readiness. Lifestyle changes are necessary when you start dieting so most of them might not be up to that yet.
