Default im trying this new diet...is it safe???

okay so instead of eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner i can substatute one or two of them (or a snack) for a plate of ice (you take a plate fill it w/ water freeze it then eat it) it makes me feel like im eating but its actually like drinking water. i also eat POM seeds after every meal (i heard they make you lose weight) so anyway what i want to know is...is this deit safe??? for my health i mean?

Since water has no nutritional value. No.

But if you wanted to lose weight fast I suppose you could try it for a couple days. But after awhile you will begin to feel weak from lack of nutrients .

POM seeds are great antioxidants which in small ways can boost your metabolism.

I suggest dieting in a healthy manner if you intend to keep the weight off. Eat a nutritious breakfast like oatmeal or a protein rich smoothie with lots of fruits. For lunch have a turkey sandwich on wheat or a salad. For dinner maybe a chicken breast or filet of salmon. There are many options, I could even give you a plan if you wish.

To finish the answer to your question. Eating frozen water for a prolonged period of more than a week is definitely not healthy. It will set your body into starvation mode and your will preserve calories and not burn them!

well actually you gain weight if you dont have your minumum calories your metabolism needs (ie- i you dont eat enough you gain weight) but it does sound like a good didea if ur craving alot of food. i actually havent heard that about pom seeds but alot of people say green tea makes you lose weight. so can lowfat milk. i suggest weight wachers- it tells you how many calories you can have and its customized so you dont eat more or less than u should. eat some berries- on weight wachers they arent even one point, neither is sugar free apple sauce. thats how i lose weight. good luck

You are going to be damaging your body, sending it signals that you are starving and it will not lose fat, your muscles will start to break down and you will become physically ill.

Eat a sensible amount of food, lots of fruit and vegetables and drink water.

Do not eat junk food, exercise at least a half an hour per day and you will be fine.

Pomegranate juice is great to drink but you will not digest seeds properly....

Don't know who came up with this so called "diet," but they will be in serious trouble when they make people sick with it.

Just when we think we have heard every supposed diet nonsense in the world, some other idea comes forth.

Learn to treat your body well and it will be healthy for many years.

you risk damage to your teeth and it will do no good for your nourishment either.
there is only one safe way to lose weight and that is by eating a balanced low calorie diet. and of course exercising for a minimum of thirty minutes every single day.

No, it's not safe. Why don't you just eat a sensible diet with plenty of salads and fruit, watch carbs, starches and sweets and reduce portion sizes? Much better for you. And of course exercise.
