    Default Benefits of Exercise

Many of use refer to exercise as a strenuous physical activity to lose weight. It's the most common misconception that needs to be changed. It really does help us lose weight and increase our metabolism, but aside from weigh loss, what are the other reasons why we need to exercise?

Exercise reduces our risk of heart disease, osteoporosis, high blood pressure, obesity and diabetes. It makes us easier to move around by keeping out joints, tendons, and ligaments flexible. It also reduces some of the effects of aging, promotes a healthy mental well being, relieves stress and anxiety, gives remedy for depression, increases our energy and endurance, and it helps us sleep better.

Exercise does give me more energy that's why I make sure that I spend enough time walking around everyday, but I think I still need to do more this time. I'm always working so I'll make time to jog or even clean the house or move furniture for more flexibility and stress release.

I definitely agree with your post mikaela. Many refer to exercise as a tiring activity that most of the time discourages them to try it. It really is tiring at first, but once you get used to it, your body will not be as active anymore if you don't exercise.

Exercising is my way of getting away from stress. Like I said my personal form of exercise is dancing, so I spend a lot of time dancing without even noticing the time. It manages to keep me fit and help increase my immunity from sickness and diseases.

You're all right. I easily get tired and stressed before I started exercising. Not anymore though. I have noticed to have a lot more energy and it does relieve me from stress too. You just need to follow a routine that you find to be fun so you don't see it as exercising but a time to enjoy
