    Default help on workout videos

I have a sister and for a long time we were told that we look so alike. I had a daughter and she had hers. But she was conscious about staying fit and I was not really into that. Few years passed and now I added 20 lbs while everyone's saying she looks like she hasn't had a baby. My point is, it seems like good genes are not enough. So I'm all for exercise and diet. Anyone got ideas on good workout routine that I can do at home? Where do I get the exercise videos for this?

There you go, I just corrected your poll question

I have no been really exercising and don't follow any routine. However I think that jogging, sit ups, using a jump rope will help you a lot. If you're into exercise videos, you can try taebo, aerobics, or pilates. You can refer to the calorie burned calculator and see which ones will help you burn more calories. If I do yoga for 30 minutes I will only burn 108 calories, if I do aerobics for the same period I will burn 163 calories, but with jogging I will burn 272 calories in 30 minutes. This tool is very helpful so you go ahead and try it

First of all, you have to create an exercise schedule so that you can make it a part of your daily routine. It really depends on how frequently you want to do your workout routines. You gotta have the discipline to follow through with your plans to achieve your goal.

I find videos from Workouts on Demand suitable for me. You can check it out and see if that works for you as well.

And remember if you’re a beginner don’t over exert yourself to prevent injuries. Let your breathing be your guide. If you’re out of breath, you’re over doing it. Results may take a while, but you’re working out not having surgery, okay?

Good luck on finding the right stuff that suits you.

You are absolutely right jumpinjack! Working out really takes time to burn fats from our body and we have to accept that. Surgery can give overnight results so unless we are up to that, we have to be patient and consistent to see the changes.

Workout videos really does work if you make it a routine. Doing it for a week and will not give you a noticeable result yet. Try doing it for a month and you'll be more happy with what you are doing. It will make you happier and healthier.

I have not tried workout videos yet, but I definitely make it a point to spend time dancing even for 30 mins. This keeps me more energized and I like that it makes me sweat because it means that I am burning fats. It's important that you love what you are doing so you don't need to push yourself to do it everytime. You're body itself will ask for it

That's great sasa. I have not been exercising a lot. I just control my calorie intake to lose weight. I know it's not good and I am slowly getting there. I have spent more time jogging and walking around to keep me more fit and energized. I admire you all for taking time to exercise because that has been what's missing in my routine.

Well you are great at counting calories and have lost a lot of weight, you should be proud of that too because not many of us can pull that off for a long time. I couldn't do that either. I think that it takes a lot of desire to lose weight to do that. For sure you'll be healthier if you couple your diet routine with exercise

Yeah I think so too . I have less energy and I get tired easily so I guess that is because I don't incorporate exercise on my daily routine. I also think that I eat more and take vitamins because I maybe pushing myself too much not giving my body enough nutrients that it needs.
