    Great words jscott! I have lost a lot of weight by avoiding bad carbohydrates and only eating the good ones. It was a struggle and a long process but it is definitely worth it. I count my calories all the time and make sure that I do not go beyond my limit. Thanks for the very informative post!

    These are great tips jscott! I have indeed losing weight by avoiding red meats and carbohydrates. Right now I have concentrated to more fruits and vegetables diet and drinking plenty of water. Like what kathy said, changing you eating habit and lifestyle is difficult but once you rip the benefits from eating healthy, it'll all be worth it.

    Fruits are veggies are the best food, when you are thinking about to loose your weight.

    Yes they are. When I decided that it's time for me to lose weight, I cut back on my carbo slowly and added more fruits and vegetables on my diet. The process was slow but it was very well worth it because I lost weight in the safest way possible. I haven't had any asthma attack, and gastric pain because of acid reflux does not happen very often anymore. I feel that I am a lot healthier and my skin looks better

    This is a great post. Thanks for sharing these knowledge to us all jscott! I also eat a lot of fruits and rarely eat meats. Well I prefer seafoods and vegetables more compared to chicken, pork, adn beef. My mom was not a fan of junk foods so I grew up not liking them that much too. Except for dark chocolates ! I know that I get a lot of antioxidants from it so I am not worried. Of course I also make sure that I eat a just the right amount because I know that they are also rich in fats. Bottomline is, eating a lot of fruits and vegetables in our daily diet will make losing weight easier.

    I agree that eating lots of fruits and vegetables, and avoid overeating bad carbohydrates and fats will make a difference in shedding off pounds. I have managed to maintain my desired weight too my eating healthy and staying active all the time. I play a lot of sports and I drink plenty of water. I know that all these make me healthy but I choose a healthy lifestyle not only to maintain my weight but it gives me more energy than I need.
