    Default i need excercises for my butt and thighs (inner and outer) but i have bad...

    ...knees, what can i do? my knees crack constantly when they bend and they hurt, are there any exercises I can do?

    I would try low-impact exercises, meaning your not putting too much pressure on your knees. Things like pilates will work good since your laying down a lot and working your legs and thighs and butt without putting pressure on your knees. Thighmaster????

    I have the same problems and do some exercises a physical therapist recommended.

    1) Sitting, put a large pillow between your knees and squeeze then let go, starting with as many reps as you can do, then add a bit more at a time.

    2) Sitting, wrap a belt around your knees then push against it, trying to open your knees, doing as many reps as you can, then adding more as you can.

    3)Lay on your back and tighten and release your buttox, and like the others, add reps as you get stronger.

    Hope this helps. It's slow going, but it took about a month for me to feel a little improvement.

    If your knees can take it, try a reclining stair stepper. My knees can't take it, but that's the first thing I was told to try.
