    Default Dumbell Excercises?

I'm 13 years old and just got a15 lbs weight. I do curls but i does anyone know a website that like gives good descriptions of the different excercises with weights besides for biceps? Cause i wanna do triceps too. Or if someone here can just tell me some excercises that would be great too.

There are many websites out there if you search on dumbell exercises. That said, if you want to do triceps, you don't even need the dumbbells. Sit in a chair with your feet straight out. Place your hands on the edge of the chair and lift yourself off and forward, sliding your heels so that your legs are straight in a diagonal. Do tricep dips -- slowly bend your arms so that your bottom is lower than the chair seat, inhaling; then exhale and press back up. Do slow reps until fatigue, rest a minute and do one or two more sets. You can find all sorts of good descriptions and pictures the next time you're at a bookstore or library -- just look for the books on fitness/sports. Also look at fitness magazines for quick routines (Fitness, Shape, Women's Health, or Men's Health).

For triceps with the dumbells, sit tall or stand, lift both dumbells overhead with your elbows close to your forehead. Inhale and bend your elbows so the dumbells lower behind your head. Exhale while slowing straightening back up. Do 2 or 3 sets of 12. These are called tricep overhead extensions.

You are smart to think of triceps if your are already working your biceps--muscle balance is important. If you can have someone in the know check your form at least once, you'll be much better off for it.
