Default what are some good excercises to do to become a boxer?

i'm 15 years old and would like to start boxing this summer. but i wanna get a little bit more in shape before i go at it. what are some good excercises to become a boxer? i know any excercise is good but, i want tough, challenging excercises, specially for girl boxers! lol thanks!! :P

Lots of crunches. You can't have a soft middle and be a boxer. Because while you need guns to attack, you will be getting hit a lot too. So any exercise that focuses on your core strength like crunches. Also, you have to train to keep your arms up which gets very tiring very quickly. So work your triceps, your biceps and your deltoids/shoulders and chest. Not too much on the legs, there you want endurance and not so much raw strength.
