    what are some good excercises that isolate your forearms.

    there you go just go about half ways down the page and you will find plenty of exercises

    In general. I think push-up is ok.

    Try Dumbbel, Barbell exercises and cable wrist curl exercises. You can also try pull ups, shrugs and squats. All of these exercises help build and strengthen your forearm.
