Default Blueberries May Help Reduce Belly Fat

I read that researchers at the University of Michigan suggests that blueberries may help burn fat and reduce risk of diabetes. They fed the lab rat a blueberry-rich mixture and results showed that it had less abdominal fat, lower cholesterol levels, lower triglycerides, improved fasting glucose and insulin sensitivity.

This is great news for us blueberry lovers. It's not only a good source of antioxidant, it will also help get rid of belly fat.

That's a good question. I want to know too. All I know is grapes. One grape is around 2 calories (depending on the size of course).

I checked calorie count and it doesn't say how much in each fruit.. One serving (125g) is equal to 65 calories.

    Hi..!!
Regular blueberry intake resulted in reduced cardiovascular diseases. Other benefits of blueberries, other than loosing that belly fat, were lower body weight, lower total mass and reduced liver mass. An enlarged liver has been linked to obesity and insulin resistance.

That's very informative Robert. Blueberry is one of the superfoods after all. It's also my favorite fruit.
