Thread: why do so many young healthy texans have food stamps?

They always have a cell phone and cash for extras and always get in a pretty nice ride. Its always the young . I say they dont want to work.

What makes you thinkit only happens here in Texas!!!!! I suggest you do your homework and look at other states too!!!It's not only happening here!!!! Many people abuse the system!!!!

It really p*sses me off when I'm in line at the grocery story and someone with food stamps is buying steaks. I'm all for helping those that need help, but it is ridiculous. I just think that everyone that gets assistance of some type needs to work for it. I don't care if you pick up trash along the roadsides or attempt projects like the TVA during WWII. Let's get some work for my tax dollars. I say you're right.

Granted that there fat fannies, lazy bums, chronic abusers, illegal aliens, single young mothers, but there are also some who fall into poverty out of sudden because of loss of employment, sickness in family, or something else you and I would not know... before they are being reduced to homeless shown up at the city corners that we hate to get near for fears... and consider them as deserved to receive food stamps...

And if you are so mad yourself, get a detective license and pursue your profession to report these abusers.... and get the lazy bum government officials in Washington to enforce the law... for a change...AND GOOD LUCK!

Texas and the Texicans have always been strange. I noticed when I was there that if the parking lot at the store was full of high-priced fancy cars, to go away and come back another day, cause the store was going to be full of people with food stamps, trying to get stuff that wasn't allowed and is was gonna take forever and a day to check out. Lots of Lexus drivers are on the dole. Go figure.

that is the essence of america living, if you work hard all your life and try to do the right thing you are basically a sap, have a lot of kids no husband, act like you are depressed, have a bad back and the government will fall over themselves to give you free money all you have to do is walk to the mailbox
