Default New book: asian diet explains easten dietary view

I just read the best diet book I have ever read. The Asian Diet: simple secrets for eating right, losing weight, and being well, by Jason Bussell, an acupuncturist. It is not like South Beach in that it doesn't tell you what to do every day. It just explains how food works. Why white rice is better than brown, why salads are not good, why we shouldn't juice much, and my favorite...why calories don't matter. Apparently the Chinese have a very different way of looking at food; but it seems to be working for them. This book is easy to read and filled with simple and useful information. I recommend it. There's a website theasiandiet.com where you can read more about it, and submit recipes that adhere to the principles.

I read about this diet too. I haven't tried it but I've read very good reviews about it. There is also a seperate thread specifically for this. You can read it here.

That's right, we have discussed this on the previous thread. This diet is based on diet from asian countries and a lot of people can attest to it's efficacy.
