I am a big fan of avocado ever since I was little. My aunt used to make avocado sandwiches and they are just tasty. She mashes the avocado and adds salt and pepper on it and use it as sandwich spread. I really really like it. Some people avoid avocado because they say it is rich in cholesterol. What they do not know is that avocado is rich in Oleic Acid that is a healthy fat that can be used to lower bad cholesterol while increasing good cholesterol in our body. A cup of avocado contains about 25% of our daily potassium needs. Potassium helps protect our heart and arteries that could reduce the risk of high blood pressure and stroke.
