Default Organic Food Misconception Could Lead To Weight Gain

I read an article from physorg.com that eating some organic foods may sabotage diet and weight loss plan. Organic foods are 50% healthier compared to non organic foods but it does not necessarily mean that they contain fewer calories.

According to a study, participated by 100 individuals, researchers showed them the were shown the nutritional information of one regular non organic cookie and one cookie made with organic flour and sugar. 38% of the participants thought that the organic cookie contained fewer calories than the non organic brand. Researchers also found that if participants choose organic desserts, they felt like it was okay for them to skip their evening exercise.

This means eating organic food alone won't help you lose weight. Organic foods doesn't mean low calories. It's a safer and healthier choice compared to conventional foods but you still need to continue mind your portions, watch your calorie intake and continue to exercise.

There is no such thing as magic food.. not even this one.. I agree that it is a healthier choice but it's way too expensive.

I honestly don't buy organic foods. Just like what viktoria said, it's too expensive.. Has anyone tried organic foods before? How does it taste?

I tried organic foods before and it doens't taste all that different from conventional foods. The only difference is, organic foods were not exposed to fertilizers or chemicals.
