I need to know of some healthy, low fat foods that I can eat for lunch while I'm at work.
Here's the situation: I don't own a car and I have a 30 minute break. My two walking distance options for lunch time are a Hooters and a Popeyes fast food restaurant. Both are unhealthy choices for a daily meal and it builds up to a financial strain as well. Since that Popeyes is starting to show and my wallet is getting bruised I've decided I need to start packing a lunch instead. But here inlies another issue. The fridge at work is broken and the microwave is in the same state!
I need to know of some HEALTHY foods I can bring with me to work for lunch that will:
A) Fill me up so I won't gorge at dinner time.
B) Don't require refrigeration.
C) Don't need to be microwaved.
and
D) Are relatively reasonably priced.
