This last week, I just gave up condiments and I lost 3 pounds without even doing anything. No more ketchup, salt, salad dressing.

Seriously?! Wow I would love that too! I'll think about it too but I doubt if I can do it. I put less salt now on the food that I cook and I think it will help a lot in my weight loss too. I am also very self conscious about my salt intake because I know that it causes water weight.
Yeah it does sound simple but if we skip condiments all the time, it's a little difficult to enjoy the foods without it and I think I will eventually cheat more. The reason why we love fatty foods is because they are more tasty. We have to prepare healthy foods that are delicious so we don't miss the fatty and calorie rich foods as much. Spices will help on making foods we cook smell interesting and taste delicious. I have been avoiding salty foods though and cut back on sugar which I think is helpful if I can keep it up. Avoiding ketchup is a good idea because 1 tbsp of it has 167mg of sugar and 3.4 sugars!
