How do you cut your calories down? There are a lot but I want to know what works for most of us. I have here 25 ways on how to cut our calories daily to help us lose weight or maintain our ideal weight.
- Cut half your cake or pie in half
- Choose non fat instead of whole milk
- Drink only water instead of fruit juice or soda
- Use skim or low fat or non fat yogurt milk when blending your smoothie instead of ice cream
- Skip the cheese and put lettuce, tomatoes, and onions in your burger
- Leave 3-4 bites in your plate
- Drink light beer instead of the regular and limit to only 1 or 2
- Flavor your coffee with cinnamon and nutmeg instead of syrup or sugar
- Use extra virgin olive oil when cooking
- Eat whole wheat bread instead of white
- Enjoy a cup of soup instead of a bowl
- Use vinaigrette dressing to your salad instead of mayo based one
- Trim all fats from beef, chicken, and pork
- Steam vegetables instead of frying
- Reduce cooked rice and pasta by half
