    Default searching for inner strength

    Hi everyone!

I am new to this forum. I am a 27 year old female who wants to lose 70 lbs. I have been overweight all my life and I'm tired of it! I recently hired a personal trainer and will be training with him 3 times a week until November. I decided to join this forum because I want to stay focused and motivated. I am very timid and embarrased to talk to others about my weight because non of my friends stuggle with weight problems so I pretend to be happy, when I'm really not all the time. On days when I don't see my trainer, I stuggle to stay on track and motivated.

I notice that when I am stressing myself out or putting pressure on myself to lose weight, I cannot do it at all. If I cannot meet my goal I get frustrated and instead of eating right I pamper myself and splurge on comfort foods, which we all know are mostly not diet friendly. Try not to pressure yourself too much and enjoy your hard work. Think that everyday you are working out and eating healthy, you're a day closer to achieving your goals. I also struggled with my weight loss and so far I am happy of my progress. I've been stressed this couple of days but generally I am very happy of my weight loss achievement

This is a great advise mikaela. I also find that I pressure myself too much to exercise even if I am tired so I meet my daily goal. But if I push myself too much sometimes I feel unhappy and very tired and have less energy at work. Now I am changing my exercise routine and walk up and down the stairs. It helps me burn more calories and a little less work. This week is my PMS period and I notice that I give in to my cravings more but instead of eating milk chocolate, I eat dark chocolate which has more antioxidants and I believe better for the body. I did give in to a bag of potato chips and feel bad about it but I will make up for it.
