    4. Ischaemic heart disease - inadequate the supply of blood to the heart

    6. Hypertensive heart disease - a leading form of illness and death caused by high blood pressure.

    7. Inflammatory heart disease - inflammation of the heart muscle and tissues.

Thanks for posting this kathy. Heart diseases are the leading cause of death in the US. Same in Canada, England and Wales. I agree that you should see you doctor if you suspect you have this condition. This is one of the diseases that should not be taken lightly.

If you had a heart condition when were a baby but no longer had any symptoms when you grew up, does that mean you no longer have it?

If it was just a heart murmur, t's possible to outgrow it but if it was a heart failure, it's hard to say. It's best to ask a doctor about it, just to be sure.

I know someone who complained about pain in his left arm before and good thing he was taken to the hospital right away. His doctor said that was an early warning sign of heart attack.
