Thread: FDA warns consumers of Que She Weight Loss Supplement

I just read the news from MSNBC that FDA issued a warning that chinese herbal slimming supplement called Que She contains harmful drugs not listed on the product label.

The supplement contains fenfluramine, could cause heart valve damage and three other potentially harmful drugs. Other drugs that were found were beta-blocker propranolol, can harm people with asthma and heart conditions; sibutramine, may increased risk of heart attack and stroke in users with a history of heart disease; and ephedrine, a stimulant banned by FDA.

FDA also warned existing users of Que She to consult their doctor. I think it is best since there might be possible harmful effects on their health if they have been using this supplement for a long time.

Oh this is scary.. These drugs are not listed on the label? That's just wrong..

I haven't heard of this product before.. I thought herbal products are supposed to be safe but this one causes more harm than good.

I think some online stores already removed thid product from their site

If it has been removed online, that's a good news. It's totally deceiving the people who are just trying to lose weight which is just so cruel. Many people will suffer from the bad effects of this supplement if they have been using it for a very long time.

Definitely! It's too bad that companies are duping their products just so people buy them. Most of these people who opt to using supplements are hopeless and have tried everything to lose weight but have been unsuccessful which is just so sad

What's worst is that these customers are hopeful to lose weight and become healthier that's why they spend money to buy these supplements. What they don't know is that they are hurting their body more. If they have been using this for awhile now, they may have lost weight because the body is suffering of an illness caused buy this harmful drug.
