Thread: Has anyone done Herbal Magic for weight loss?

Did it work for you? What do you do, is it just herbs or is it a diet programe you follow? Was in expensive? Was it easy for you to follow? Tell me what you think! Thanks

I'm looking up Herbal magic forums on the web and telling everyone -DO NOT get sucked into this - it's expensive, it's crap, and you won't lose much weight!

The eating program itself is OK, but you are expected (pressured) to buy expensive pills every week. ($54 each time) plus a $30 monthly for chromium pills (which cost 5 bucks at the drugstore) And believe me, when you say you can't afford to buy them, the franchise owner will not be happy with you, and expect to get an uncomfortable vibe from them each time you go for your weigh in (3 times a week).
The pills bunged me up, and didn't work. Initially they did stave off cravings which helped. But after that, they did nothing. AND NOW, since I haven't reached my goal weight within my 12 weeks, they are saying I have to pay $15 per week.

Initially I paid over $900 to join, and was told that it would be for a YEAR of consultations, weigh-ins, etc.

But since their program hasn't worked (and I was pretty on track much of the time), now I AM BEING PENALIZED.

Herbal magic won't get another cent from me, and I urge you not to join.

Learn from me, and don't get into wasting a couple thousand on this crappy diet. Do weight watchers or something that has a better reputation that won't be sucking your wallet dry!!!!

Thats an interesting post, hard to believe we are on the same program. I have lost 70 lbs on HM and a man I know here has lost over 200! It basically saved his life and thats why I went. I love the food plan, I love the way the pills make me feel and its worth every penny I spent! Only 10 lbs to go! I was on weight watcher for 3 years and never lost a damn thing, except 3 years! You can spend 50 bucks a week on something that makes you healthy or you can spend it on something that makes you sick.....like junk food, take out, smokes, etc. It's your choice but you're likely spending it anyway!

I joined Herbal Magic Jan 4/08 and it is now Apr 1/08. I have lost 32 lbs and over 30 inches, so far. I have been VERY pleased with the program and my results. While it has been expensive, I have found it to be worth it. I was so miserable with the extra weight. The pills have made me fill 100% better. I figure I have spent well over $2,000, so far, but I don't care. My health is worth it. Also I have been an emotional eater for several years now and these supplements they sell you have really controlled that. No other diet has been able to do that for me.

I too just recently joinged herbal magic.

It has been two months, and I have only lost 6 lbs. I am following their plan to a "T".

Now they are telling me to exercise 30 minutes a day (which I do an hour a day). Something is Wrong!! It is very expensive.

I too joined 6 weeks ago and only lost 7 lbs but I did lose 17.5". I too follow the plan but when I ask why the weight is not coming off they say "Well let's see what next week brings!" Pretty soon it will be my 3 months up and I will be paying that penalty too. I just don't know what to do anymore. I only have about 30 lbs to lose but I should be dropping by now!

Just want to point out that this is probably a post written by an employee. HM has a rep for doing this, it's called "astroturfing". Just saying!

I really wonder: why are their herbal products more expensive than market price?

Sorry to disappoint you, but there's simply no "magic" when come to weight loss. However, don't be discouraged, there are good plans out there to help you shed away the fat.

Herbal Magic was definitely a gamble for myself, and it took a lot to finally decide to give it a try. But I joined up about 5 weeks ago, starting at 187.6lbs and now I am currently at 163.6. They gave me a completion date of February 13th to reach my goal of 155, about a 37lb drop, and after 5 weeks I am down 24lbs at almost 5lbs a week with only 11lbs left to go, way, way way ahead of schedule.

The program is definitely difficult to stick too, and most definitely not cheap, watching my visa bill go up every week as I purchase more pills sure does hurt, but it's just more motivation. I am a young guy, full time college student, run my own company from home, newly married with a 14 month old daughter, busy for my life is an understatement but I assure you, this program can be done, and if you follow it, it will definitely work.
