It may have a trivial effect on the weight loss, but unless you're working with weights, say bye to some muscle mass. It may improve your health provided the teas have antioxidants and vitamin C.

Uhm I dont think there are any studies to show megadosing with tea will have any effect other than you'd be too full to eat. That would hard you in that your body may go in starvation mode and stock up on fat coz you dont basically eat anymore and just drink.

Tea is goo, but everytihing in moderation.

There are a couple of teas which might work for you:

Kudi tea (otherwise known as Bitter Tea or Bitter Nail Tea.)

    Honeysuckle Tea

These might work because they contain a lot of Chlorogenic acids, and there is some research which suggests that this stuff is effective against diabetes, high blood pressure and to help lose weight (see, for example: fbshealth.com/skinnylatte_research.php)

But the weight loss evidence is for Green Coffee Bean extract, so I am not sure if it is applicable. However, in China, Kudi tea has been used for centuries to help lose weight, so there may be something to it.

The thing is, Kudi is really bitter. It is not to everyone's taste, but I personally like it. I don't like Honeysuckle, because I think it tastes too medicinal.

    Good luck!
