Newbie alert! Also making a weight-loss documentary :)
Hello all! I'm gonna be begging your indulgence here I'm afraid, not only am I new, but I come with a question!
Ok, here's the thing: I'm conducting an experiment on weight-loss pills and extreme weight loss programs as part of a BodyHealth documentary I'm making.
It's a 6-part series show casing 6 different forms of extreme weight loss. (including Anorexia, ephedra, stimulants etc etc)
The first part of the doc is a month-long study on Ephedra, benefits and cons.
My question is this: Has anyone tried it? Results? (good or bad) and where is it still available? Bear in mind that it's a student program (so far!) so I don't have access to all the cool things that actual tv folk do. Internet retailers is what I'm looking for so please share the knowledge if you have it.
Before anyone says it, yes I have consulted a doctor about all the effects and risks concerning ALL my trials. Every trial will be performed by me as frankly, I don't want anyone else to take whatever risks and plus, it was a pain in arse just to do a risk-assessment for myself! Let alone 5 other people!!
As it stands, I am a 21yr old female, UK based, 5"9 and weigh about 220lbs. According to my doctor and numerous other qualified folk, this makes me an ideal candidate for the 6month undertaking I'm about to...undertake lol.
I am going to be closely monitored by alot of people, including reps from my college, doctors etc etc.
So please, any info about Ephedra and ESPECIALLY where I can get my grubby little paws on it.
But like I say, this is but ONE section of the experiment, the others will progress over the next 6-8 months. So while it'll be a slow process in some respects, I'm hoping it'll be worth-while and to my knowledge it'll be the first show of it's extreme kind to grace to air waves. Aside from the 24hr McDonalds diet lol. Never before has a show taken a look at the most extreme weight loss methods, especially on one person! Ultimatly I'm hoping to show the program to the bigwigs at the big channels and see if I can get endorsment, but for the minute, I'm making it for my final year project next year. 8months filming, the rest of the time will be dedicated to editing and the like! Let no one ever say I wasn't hardcore
Anyway, any advice is sorely needed, and I'd very much like to continually post here to you guys over the course of the next year, let you know how it's going, results etc and get some advice. Support will likely be needed!
