Default How To Perform Herbal Detoxification

To start the day, try a glass of hot water with lemon added in. This is a quick and simple way to cleanse the system. Sip herbal tea throughout the day in place of your normal choice of drink. If you are specifically intending to detox your liver, try herbal teas that contain dandelion, fennel or ginger. During your meals, add a powder form of the herbs that will be using to detox your body.

While you are using herbs to detox your body, it is recommended that you do not consume food and drink containing caffeine, alcohol, sugar, salt and additives. This means that your body is not being continuously overloaded with new toxins while it is trying to rid itself of the existing toxins. To perform herbal detoxification as effectively as possible, cut out red meat and dairy products as well. As this is only on a temporary basis of up to a month, it should not lead to any vitamin and mineral deficiencies. To limit the chances of deficiencies, increase your intake of fresh fruit and vegetables and up your intake of fibre. If you can afford to eat organically, this is the best option as it contains less toxins.

This is a great and easy way to detoxify the kidney and avoid some serious problems. I have been thinking of detoxifying to get rid of the toxins to make my organs healthier. I'm glad that I have found your thread. Thanks mikaela

Right! This is an easy to follow and very useful post mikaela. I have read before that one way of detoxifying is by eating grapes the whole day and drinking plenty of water. I don't only want to cleanse my body of toxins but to make my skin clearer too!

I wonder why it's only meant to be a 'temporary' basis? My drink of choice throughout the day (and I didn't know it was detoxifying!) is a cup of hot water with a bit of crushed ginger and a slice of lemon. It's what I used to wean me off the artificially sweetened drinks. I don't use caffeine or alcohol (don't like the way they make me feel) and, as a result of the Rice Diet, I managed to wean myself off salt and sugar (salt was my particular addiction). Also as a result of the Rice Diet, I still eat mostly a vegetarian diet although I'm not a vegetarian since I have no problem eating dairy or meat/fish/fowl. I just don't eat it on a regular basis because my protein needs are met through other means (not soy). I guess that's why I look and feel healthy all the time now!

I knew I can find help here about detoxification. I appreciate your effort for posting this mikaela because it's helpful and easy to do. I am not really a big fan of tea but I will try to take herbal tea for detoxification. I'll surely try taking hot water with lemon to start my day.
