Thread: How can I fight recurring boils??

Over the past couple of years, I have had recurring boils surface over my body. At first it was under my bra line on either of my sides. Then I got one on my butt cheek. Then I got one on my upper rear of my thigh. Last year i started getting them in the outer vaginal area. I dont know what is going on. The only thing I think to blame it on is the fact that I went thru a LapBand procedure 2 yrs ago. What am I doing wrong. I told my LapBand nurse about my suspicions of the cause and she said that the LapBand would not cause the outbreaks. Can someone please help me! I don't have the funda available to be going to the doctor each and every time I have a break out. Currently, I have 3 separate boild going. 2 on the outer parts of the vaginal area, and 1 on the inner part of my thigh. They are very painful and are reaking havoc in my life! How can I get rid of these once and for all with out the visit to the doctor. (I wont be insured until end of Feb--just started new job)... thanks

I had these once..............finally the doctor lanced one and really got out the core...cut it out.

That stopped any recurrances.

You need an antibiotic (so an MD is needed) Be sure you keep them clean with clean (hot) compresses - and wash them off with peroxide and apply an antibiotic ointment - every time you add a compress (warm) know that it can spread -
The bacteria in the boil would best respond to a 'script by an MD so get there if you still have them as soon as you get insurance.
