I'm actually curious as to why you wouldnt get gastric bypass but you will get lapband??

I have asthma, I was over 100 lbs overweight. I'm 5'2" and I weighed 235lbs. Try cutting a lot of carbs out of your diet. I dont mean stop eating carbs but cut back to 1 or 2 servings a day and eat a lot of lean protiens. I personally like to do low carb protein shakes. You will see a huge difference in a few weeks. Then when you get to a healthy weight start adding more healthy carbs back in.

I would have been a great candidate for a "weight loss" surgery, but what satisfaction do you get out of that.
