Dose anybody know what the cost runs for lapband surgery.....thanks?

It really depends on what part of the country you live in and the doctor performing the surgery. Some places have a fee in which the anesthesia, surgery and everything is included in one fee.

I tried to get it done a few years ago, here in Texas. My insurance wouldn't cover it. To pay cash would have been around $15,000. So, needless to say, it didn't get done. Most doctors will give you some kind of discount if you are paying cash. Just ask, if that is what your intent is. Also be aware that likely you will have to see a shrink and a nutritionist, among other things, before the doctor will schedule the surgery. And these are extra, that even if you have insurance it may not cover.
