    Default Liposuction

Have you had an experience with liposuction? I've been thinking about getting one. I want to get rid of the excess fats around my thighs, waist and arms. I've been exercising and dieting for years but I can't get rid of the flabs in those areas. Do you think it's a good idea? How expensive do you think it will be?

Hmmm... This is really popular in my country but I haven't tried it. I saw documentaries about it and it looks painful.

Have you tried strength training before? That should help you tone up your muscles in your abs, thighs and arms. I won't recommend liposuction to you since there are risk involved. Plus, It's expensive too.

Well, liposuction is the best way to remove those flabs but I agree with viktoria, it is risky and expensive. I've read reports of infection or complications after surgery. If you want to go through with it, just be sure to go to the right place. Don't be fooled by cheap offers by other clinics.

That's right. There are clinic who offer discounted rates so be careful. I'd still say exercise is best but of course, the decision is up to you.

kathy, as I previously mentioned, I've tried exercise for years but I still can't get rid of them. I appreciate the word of caution. I haven't decided yet. I'm still trying to find out if thi is the best move for me to take.

is that so? well, I can understand why you want to try other ways to get rid of them. I guess if you've tried to exercise for years and still not getting the results, liposuction might be the only way.

Here a little information about liposuction for those who know too little of it:

Liposuction is the removal of fat deposits between the skin and muscle. with the use of a hollow stainless steel tube and a powerful vacuum. In women, the most frequently treated areas are the thighs, hips, buttocks, cheeks, breasts, abdomen, arms and neck. In men, treated areas include the neck and chin areas, love-handles, breasts and abdomen. The cost varies depending on which area you would like to be treated. It could range from $1600 - $7200 or more.

Since this is a surgical procedure, risks are to be expected. Some are severe and some are mild.

Very expensive..I can't even imagine what type of risk or complications there are. They require anesthesia right since it's surgical? Are there non surgical type of liposuction?
