Thread: Zalak B and non-invasive gastric volume reduction

Hi, I am seriously considering bypass, la[band or balloon and am doing research in this area. Apparently all these methods boil down to gastric volume reduction, but are quite invasive. Has anybody tried Zalak B, a non-invasive expandable balloon-like implement that apparently can achieve temporary gastric volume reduction?

a friend of mine had this done an another friend had the bypass. it is a journey in itself. a yr of pain, and very uncompfy feeling.
having to watch the size of food that u eat and for a long time just liquid's. which is very aggrevating. which ever u choose u r doing the right thing to find out what other ppl are/did go thru before u do it.

Thanks, wildman, as I said, I am looking for non-invasive alternatives to gastric volume reduction. Any suggestions, or recommendations most welcome. So far I have discovered Appesat, Zalak B, and PREE, but have not seen any comparative opinions/evaluation.

Yes, have been doing that for some time. Ideally, would like to hear as many opinions as possible, though. Finally my order of Zalak B arrived, 15 days supply only to try, but haven't heard much about it, except from a friend of mine. As I said, I tried Appesat and PREE before, will see how this one goes.
